The International Institute for Species Exploration has compiled the 2011 list of the top 10 new species that were discovered and these glowing Brazilian mushrooms (Mycena luxaeterna) is probably the prettiest. The toothy leech (Tyrannobdella rex) is the ugliest of the lot – you have been warned.
