So I was at my car mechanic‘s place yesterday getting some tweaks done to my car when I saw an almost 30 year old Fiat 124 Coupé pull up into the workshop. It was a thing of beauty and the 1.8 litre engine made the sweetest sound whenever the car took off. The gentleman who drove it obviously took very good care of his ride for as long as he’s had it. Cars like this, to borrow from Patek Philippe, are not things you own but merely look after for the next generation.
