I’m not quite an everyday, Linux CLI guy, though any Linux user wanting the most out of his/her machine needs to know their way around the shell. After installing the pretty excellent DebXO on my G1G1 OLPC a couple of days ago, I was reading up on using apt-get to install stuff when I discovered this Super Cow Easter egg. I thought it was a reference to the hilarious Cow and Chicken cartoon from many years ago, but it wasn’t. You can type apt-get moo to see what is apparently a reference to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry‘s wonderfully trippy book, The Little Prince.
