A long time ago, I remember watching The Tale of the Fox as a young boy at a museum screening and not paying much attention. I watch it now and I notice the facial expressions, the costumes and other ‘hand made’ intricacies. For stop-motion that was made during the infancy of film, it is an exceptionally brilliant piece of work by Vladislav Starevich.

This video (in six parts) was uploaded and subtitled by an awesome animation fan, so if you enjoyed it, please thank her too.
