We’ve come a long way since 1977 when Raymond Damadian gave the world the first MRI machine. I had my first MRI done today and it brought out the claustrophobic demons in me which I never knew I had. After the first two minutes, I pretended I was manning a shuttle into the depths of space. After I had my mental back story set up, the remaining 15 minutes in the MRI machine passed by like warp speed.
Having said that, an MRI scan is quite high up on my list of things I don’t really want to try again.
